Samsung finally officially announced the Samsung Galaxy S2 phone at Mobile World Congress 2011. The Galaxy S2 is one of the most advanced Android smartphone manufactured. The phone features a whopping 1GHZ Exynos dual-core processor, a 4.3-inch AMOLED Plus touch screen, TouchWIz UI 4.0, HSPA+ (21 Mbps), a 8-MP digital camera, HD Video recording capability, NFC support, Android 2.3, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. Besides that, it also supports Samsung in-house developed “Hubs” technology, such as Social Hub Premium, Readers Hub, Games Hub and Music Hub. Pricing information is not available currently.

Pantech Launched Vega S IM-A730S Android Phone

Another new Android smartphone is unearthed by Pantech via Sky in South Korea today. The new smartphone is named Vega S IM-A730S. It features a 4-inch LCD touch screen (800 x 480), a 1.2-GHZ Snapdragon processor, Google Android 2.2 OS, HD video playback, HSPA+, and DDR2 RAM. The Vega S IM-A730S will be available at the end of this month, but there is no word about its pricing yet.

Disappointed but Upbeat

Hey, so I was hoping those Poltergeists would be back from heat treat by now but for some reason these guys are dragging their feet. That means they will not be back to me until Monday at the earliest but more likely later on next week.

Now, next week I am taking some days off, probably the whole week in fact. I'm having my gall bladder out. It's an outpatient laproscopic surgery and really shouldn't be too big of a deal but I'll be sore and doped up for a couple of days at least. Maybe by the weekend I'll be back on my feet and moving forward.

The great news is, I have just a ton of stuff going so the middle and latter part of April is going to be crazy crazy busy. Those who have been wanting G5 Prybabies will not be left out because there are three whole batches in the works. Probably will be May on those but they are certainly on the way. Also, Poltergeists and mini Poltergeists in large quantities and the E115 tool. And the titanium Poltergeists and mini Poltergeists have also been started. I'm contemplating some Gasbabies too.

The Dace knives are on hold indefinitely. I had some production difficulties but I'm still hopeful that the batch can be saved. I'm looking at my options and I think there's a way to get them finished to my satisfaction eventually but don't hold your breath on them.
